Natural Remedy for Depression & Anxiety

People who have never suffered from depression, anxiety or insomnia find it difficult to understand how devastating and disabling these problems can be. They also contribute to each other, creating a vicious cycle that is difficult to break.

Being anxious increases depressive feelings, because we cannot do the things that we enjoy and we are constantly worried. Being worried or depressed interferes with our ability to sleep. We spend countless hours tossing and turning. When we don't get enough sleep, our brains do not produce enough "feel good" chemicals like serotonin and dopamine.

We have trouble exercising, because we are tired. When we don't exercise, our bodies do not produce enough endorphins, which are also feel good chemicals. People that suffer from anxiety, depression or insomnia have weaker immune systems. They are sick more often.

If we go to our doctors, they will prescribe anti-depressants, sleeping pills or anti-anxiety medications. Those are accompanied by numerous side effects and they are addictive.

If you suffer from any of these problems, you have my sympathy. I have been in your shoes. I tried the prescription drugs. They made me feel numb. I had a headache every single day that I took them. When I finally decided to stop taking them, it took me three days to get over the withdrawal symptoms.

Medications are unnatural chemicals that damage your body. They mask some symptoms, but that's about it. They do not correct the chemical or hormonal imbalances within the body that are the root causes of these emotional issues.

I have found that natural remedies are far more effective than anything that a doctor ever prescribed. You can correct this problem on your own. When you are able to sleep well, you will have more energy to move around during the day. When you are able to move around more, your body will produce more endorphins and you will feel better, in general. You can heal your mind, as I have done.

Here's how I did it...

First, I started taking Mind Soothe by Native Remedies. Over the years, I have taken a number of their products. I find that herbal remedies simply work better and they are much safer for your body.

I also incorporated a few simple changes that I feel have significantly helped improve my sense of well-being.

I stopped drinking caffeinated beverages. You do not realize the effect that caffeine has on your body, until you go without it for a while.

You may need to cut back slowly on your caffeine intake. I have always found it easier to simply cut things out, but not having the caffeine did cause me to have a headache. It only lasted for a day though. Caffeine is a drug, a stimulant. It interferes with sleep and makes you nervous. You might not have to cut it out entirely, but you should at least cut back and never have caffeine after 3pm.

I made changes to my diet and lifestyle as well. Fruits, vegetables, salmon and whole grains contain antioxidants and other nutrients that the body needs to make serotonin and other feel good chemicals. The body also needs plenty of fresh air and sunshine.

Seasonal affective disorder or SAD is a condition that occurs during the wintertime. It is due to the lack of sun exposure that a person has during winter months. It causes fatigue, food cravings and depression. The condition is relieved by using light therapy.

I always make sure to spend at least 10 minutes in the sunshine, whenever possible. But, rainy days don't get me down anymore, anyway. I walk every day, even when it's raining. In fact, the rain makes me smile. I believe that is due to the ingredients in Mind Soothe.

One of those ingredients is St John's wort. The herb is often recommended for depression and other mood disorders, but it works best when it is combined with Passion Flower extract. Passion Flowers contain unique antioxidants that contribute to overall good health.

Both St John's wort and Passion Flower extract have been tested in clinical studies and have been proven effective for relieving depression, anxiety, PMS, SAD and insomnia. Unlike prescription drugs, Mind Soothe is not accompanied by unwanted side effects and it is non-addictive. It contains no artificial ingredients, colorings, flavorings or preservatives.

It must be taken regularly and you might not notice the results for three weeks or so. But, if you combine it with some of the other things that I have mentioned here, you will see results.

There was a time when I was completely disabled for six weeks. I could not go to work. I felt that no one understood me or what I was going through. Luckily, I found Mind Soothe.

My goal is to help other people that suffer from emotional problems. There are effective natural cures. You can feel good again, maybe sooner than you think.

I suggest that you take a look at Mind Soothe before you try to make other changes in your life. The mood balancing activity of the herbs will help you feel more like making those changes. Be happy and be well!
